Civilian Committee

Every squadron in the ATC is required to have a civilian committe. It is made up of prominent members of the local community, interested parents, ex members of the ATC of anyone else with an interest of the development of the squadron.

The purpose of the committee is to manage the squadron funds, assist with fundraising activities and give support to the squadron commander in the recruiting of cadets and staff. To enable this most committees meet on a regular basis (at least quarterly) to discuss local issues and agree on actions for the future. As such, committess have a vital role to play.
