Squadron on Stand Down - Behind the Scenes...
Although during July the squadron has been on stand down some cadets and staff have still been working away.
During July Fg Off Gallagher, CI Russell, (IC)FS Gralko, Cpl Love, Cpl Kelly, Cdt's Stevenson E and McCormack have been carrying out various jobs around the squadron.
The team have re-designed the uniform store to make it easier to maintan and operate; Mr Russell and a few cadets have filled in some of the cracks and holes in the walls and given it a nice new coat of paint. Also on the paint front, our tables have been given a make-over in RAF Stable Belt fashion. Mr Russell brightened up the entrance to the squadron by re-painting the steps and banisters and plans are also underway to tidy up the perimeter fence.
Meanwhile back inside Fg Off Gallagher and (IC)FS Gralko have had their thinking caps on and they have designed and constructed a new year planner using a magnetic board and magnetic symbols. This will hopefully allow the squadron staff and SNCO's to plan ahead easily and make changes without the hassle of re-printing training programmes.
